The first day will begin with a long descending slight slope that from the village of Morgex will take us directly to the medieval village of Avise. Here the first ascent of the day will begin, characterized by 3 main sections, alternating with short descents that will allow us to catch our breath and recover. Leaving the village of Avise, the road immediately narrows and in the initial stretch yet we find the steepest slopes. A long sequence of spectacular hairpin bends will take us to one of the most panoramic places from which to see Mont Blanc. The second part of the climb will show us many different alpine landscapes and an overview of many of the peaks of Aosta Valley. Once we reach Verrogne village we will start a very long descent that will take us to the bottom of the valley and then right to the attack of the second ascent of the day, this time however very short.

At this point the great bumps will be overcome, and all that we’ll do is return to Morgex!

The second day includes an immediate uphill departure: towards Piccolo San Bernardo! The initial slopes are very gentle and will allow you to warm up for the second stretch of the climb, a little more impervious. After passing the town of La Thuile, we will face a 13 km of uphill, never demanding, which will take us directly to the 2188m of Piccolo San Bernardo pass. We will make a short crossing into France to La Rosière ski resort and then return to Italy. A long descent will take us back to La Thuile, where we will prepare to face the second roughness of this day: Colle San Carlo. The ascent will be short, only 4km, but the slopes and the gradient will always be higher than 10%. Once at the top we will conclude with the last 10km of descent, there will be a 10km descent, very steep and twisty, which will take us back to Morgex.

The last day will see the two valleys that embrace Mont Blanc as protagonists: Val Veny and Val Ferret. The departure ride through the vineyards of La Salle will allow us to warm up our legs in view of the two ascents of the day; we will start the way to Mont Blanc, cross Courmayeur and then start with the first climb: Val Veny. A short initial section, with very demanding gradients -always over 10%- will take us to the small church of Notre Dame de la Guérison. Here you will have a stunning view of Brenva glacier. The climb now becomes easier, almost flat as the road leads into Peuterey forest. At the end of the woods the second part of the ascent will be very hard again, up to the summit, until you’ll reach the foot of Lake Combal.

From here we will return to Courmayeur to start the ascent into the other valley: Val Ferret.

This ascent is also steep in the first part, and then becomes much easier after the village of Plampincieux. Here you will come out of the woods and begin a long plateau from which you will be able to admire Grandes Jorasses massif.

A short stop at the bottom of the valley will allow us to refresh ourselves before returning to La Salle.
